Just about every OS has a 64 bit version, but still no major strides with manufacturers. When the majority get on board with 64bit and no ones equipment will work without manufacturer support, then you will see a lot of participation, but that doesnt seem to be in the cards. Until then you will have to count on independent hit and miss work arounds or as someone else suggested, give up 64bit.
A shame considering so much computer hardware has 64bit support. Hardware pulling us one direction and software, accessories, etc holding the line on old technology. My windows 7 32bit pc works fine with canons 5d drivers shame. You mean people actually connect their camera to DL images?
