I've uploaded a few new picturs - in addition to lots of jewellery, I also made a few beaded boxes again, and instead of working off patterns tried making my own designs for the first time - very simple ones for now, ranging from some geometrical patterns to a small flower and some fish. I'd like to try something more elaborate one of these days, but I haven't yet quite got there yet.

It's been a while since the last time I posted any pictures - I've been rather busy with preparations these last few weeks, since I participated in my very first tiny little local art and crafts fair this weekend with my jewellery and bead figures.
I have to admit I was a bit nervous before, but all in all it actually went quite well. Perhaps not surprisingly, it turns out it's the bead figures and boxes that draw the most attention, but the jewellery that actually sells well. Anyway, I of course took pictures of everything before I put it up for sale, and so I've finally got something to show again, once I've sorted through and uploaded everything.
I'll start with a few more of the beaded cylinder necklaces again - they're my favourite at the moment, and were also the ones that sold best. Collapse Collapse Collapse I've got to find a better way to photograph these, though; the lighting rather messes with the colours.

Am still making new jewellery, but since I haven't yet gotten around to taking pictures of the newer stuff somehow I never seem to manage to think of it when the light is actually right , I dug around in some older pictures of my beaded animals which I already took a while ago, but have never posted so far.
I've already shown you my little collection of dragons, and here's now something rather similar, because as we all know Collapse Speaking of Jurassic Park , making these little bead dinosaurs actually made me go looking for the movies and watch all three of them again - I hadn't seen them in years, but my reactions hadn't really changed much.
I loved the first one when first I saw it as a kid it was the first movie I actually went to see more than once , and I still find it enjoyable.
